Instructions for Stat Program Entry Form

    This is the preferred method if you are going to e-mail the bracket. 

Does not work with Apple

    Instructions for a person with little computer knowledge.

1)   Next to the words *Download Stats Program* are the words *Entry Form*.  Move your cursor over *Entry Form* using Mr. Mouse and give me a ‘left click’.

2)   A box will then pop up that says something about us infecting your computer with a virus.  Give me a ‘left click’ on the word *Save*.

3)   Your computer will then ask you where you want to place the *hoopentry* file.  It’ll first want to put it in your *My Documents*.  Let’s put it there (if you don’t see *My Documents* at the top of that box, then go ahead and press *My Documents* on the left).  Now press *Save* on the bottom right.

4)   After it’s done uploading the *hoopentry* file to your computer, press the *start* button on your computer screen (bottom left corner) and click on your *My Documents*.

5)   Provided you did the above correctly, you should see a yellow basketball next to the file called *hoopentry*.  Give me a ‘double click’ on that file.

6)   Fill in your name and email address in the boxes at the top.

7) Click on the team that you think will win.  Notice when you click on a team, it’ll advance them one game.  Complete this for the entire bracket. 

8)  Now click on *File* in the upper left, and click on *Save As*.  Another box will open up.  Keep clicking on the folder with the up arrow on it in the upper right until you see *Desktop* at the top.  Now click in the File Name box near the bottom.  Type in the name that you wish to call your entry (if you want your entry to be call Lebron James then you save the file as Lebron James).  Now press *Save* on the lower right.

9)   The address to send this file you made to is mayhem@sportgeekpools.com . Press on that email link (either here, on the webpage, or type that email yourself).  Inside that email, press *Attach* and then the folder with the up arrow until you get to *Desktop*.  Locate the file you just created (it’ll be listed alphabetically) and click on it.  The file will be called Lebron James.NC2.  Press *Attach* and then *Send*.  Congratulations you have just entered the pool! 

10)  In your email, please mention how your money is to going to get to me.  Either through a local representative or mail a check to me.

9)   Send this file to mayhem@sportgeekpools.com . The file will be called Lebron James.NC2.    Congratulations you have just entered the pool! 

10)  In your email, please mention how your money is to going to get to me.  Either through a local representative or mail a check to me.

If you want to see your picks after you save the file.

1)  Reopen the Entry Form Program

2)  Select File, Open,

3)  Find your .NC2 File.
